Bronwyn Elizabeth graduated from Lancaster Uni with a BA Hons in Musical Theatre. She then moved to Manchester and studies Acting For Camera at ActUpNorth for two years.
In 2019 she moved to London and has been studying Meisner since then. Bronwyn is the sole creator of company BE and the Never BEfore Showcase.

Owen Clayton (he/they) recently graduated from ArtsEd with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. They are passionate about new writing and telling underrepresented stories through all mediums of performance.

MELISSA CAVANAGH
Actor
Melissa was a contestant on series 5 of ‘The Voice UK’ after Boy George picked her to be one of the twelve artists on his team.
Since moving to London from Sunderland to pursue Acting & Musical Theatre, she has performed at various venues and theatres such as Live at Zedel, Pizza Express Jazz Clubs & the Phoenix Artists Club. She also performs regularly with girl group The Sundaes (as seen on BBC’s All Together Now) including Maspalomas Winter Pride in Gran Canaria. She has had the privilege of performing alongside wonderful artists such as Roger Daltey (The Who), Ruthie Henshall, Jai McDowall, Christina Bianco & Jools Holland to name but a few.

PENELOPE YEULET
Writer & Director
Penelope Yeulet is a queer actor, writer, and director with a strong focus on the female gaze and female rage. Particularly fluent in sardonic, hedonistic surrealism Penelope strives to tell ordinary stories in extraordinary ways.
With cut-glass sarcasm and an irreverent attitude, she is driven to show all aspects of the female experience, never shying away from the dirty or sordid details, rather relishing in them.

HOLLY SMITH
as Imogen
Holly Smith graduated with a First Class degree in 2020 after completing a three-year acting BA course at Kingston University. She is currently a member of the London Meisner Company.

TUMBA KATANDA
as Charley
Tumba Katanda trained as a dancer at the George Salter Academy. She found her interest in acting through her creative physical work.
Tumba Katanda currently trains at the Identity school of acting and is a member of the National Youth Theatre.

VINCENT GWYN
as Riz
Vincent first started his career behind the scenes in the video game industry (on the award-winning Final Fantasy XIV) until he trained with numerous acting tutors and directors (Christopher Hanvey, Clare Davidson & more) to get a better understanding of actors.
His training inspired him to completely switch careers, and now he focuses on acting full-time; while still having a fond place in his heart for video games.

GEMMA WHITELEY
Writer
Gemma is an actor, writer and director from Teesside, now based in Manchester. She is co artistic director of Company Four, a theatre company that specialises in devised work. Company Four’s debut show Three. Two. THIRTY premiered at the Greater Manchester Fringe Festival to sold out audiences. Gemma’s first short play “Granola” was a finalist at OffCut at 53two and her spoken word has been published by the Howling Press and Buzzin Bards. She is thrilled to be included amongst the writers for this evening of new writing.

BRADLEY BUTLER
Actor
Bradley Butler is a British-Filipino actor born in Singapore.
Bradley is part of the National Youth Theatre (2021), and trains at Identity School of Acting (2021-2022). Roles include Jackie in Queers: Eight Monologues, Mr. Sims in The Nether and Tanner in WHITE.
Outside acting, Bradley works at a workers right startup and is a TikTok creator.

Jacob Freda is an actor, writer, and director, currently based in Bristol. He recently graduated from Durham University with a BA (Hons) in English. He is a member of the National Youth Theatre, and recently completed their Senior Acting Course.
This is the first time his work has been professionally performed on the stage, so he’s a bit excited.

CURTIS GRIME

Curtis is a Mancunian actor, director and writer who focuses on telling queer stories and experiences.He has trained across variety of styles including classical and Shakespearean, contemporary, physical theatre, forced entertainment and musical theatre.
Curtis’ stage credits include OURS 2018 tour, Macbeth, Grindr Survivr, Life in Limbo, Spring Awakening, The Government Inspector, The Crucible and Rent.His screen credits include Forest Creatures Feel No Cold, AfterBUTT, Modern Life is Rubbish and Netflix’s The King.

Emily is an actress and writer from Manchester. She is a Royal Central School of Speech and Drama alumni, as well as the founding member of Sticky Floor Productions. Sticky Floor provides a safe space for women to write, network and film their own projects – focusing on comedy.
Emily’s most recent work includes “The Confessional” in which she wrote and directed a cast of 26 during lockdown. She is currently working on a short film with JBL3Productions. It is worth noting that in return for coffee, Emily will do anything*.
